Love It, Wash It, Wear It Again: Wrap Care Made Easy
How to Wash & Care for Your Wrap
One of the best things about babywearing?
Hands-free snuggles while you go about your day — whether it’s folding laundry, prepping dinner, or wrangling a toddler.
But with real life comes real mess: grease splatters, baby spit-up, diaper blowouts, or your own breakfast burrito making a detour onto your wrap. (Hey, we’ve been there.)
The good news? Your wrap was made for this. We designed it to handle the ups, downs, and daily spills of parenthood — and with a little care, it’ll stay soft, safe, and beautiful for years to come.
Washing + Drying Your Wrap
Yes, it’s machine washable!
To keep your wrap in top condition:
-
Wash on cold, gentle cycle
-
Tumble dry on low
(Yep — the dryer helps maintain the fabric’s shape!) -
If your machine has an agitator, pop your wrap in a delicates bag
Pro tip: Skip washing with anything that has zippers, snaps, Velcro, or hooks — they can snag the fabric and cause damage.
If Your Wrap Has a Hole or Snag
-
Avoid clipping anything to your wrap (like pacifier clips), which can stress the fabric.
-
Holes in weight-bearing areas (like where the wrap crosses your back or shoulders) mean it's time to retire the wrap for safety.
-
Holes near the tails, away from baby’s weight, are usually okay — just monitor them.

Treating Stains
Life’s messy — and that’s okay.
Here’s how to treat common stains:
Food/Bodily Fluids:
-
Pretreat ASAP with an enzyme-based stain remover
-
Wash on cold/delicate cycle
Grease (e.g. cooking oil):
-
Lay wrap flat and generously cover the spot with baking soda or baby powder
-
Let sit for 4–24 hours to absorb the grease
-
Spot wash with cold water and blue Dawn dish soap or Buncha Farmers stick
-
Rinse, then lay flat to dry in sunlight (only for spot-treating — not for every wash)
Already ran it through the dryer? You still might have luck with a second treatment.
Storing Your Wrap
Short-term (daily use):
-
Tuck it into its own tail pocket, or hang it nearby
-
Avoid tossing near Velcro, nail clippers, or sharp objects (especially in diaper bags!)
Long-term:
-
Fold neatly and store in an airtight container
-
Keep away from moisture, direct sunlight, or extreme heat
